Public Education Event
“Neuromodulación; mejorando la calidad de vida de las enfermedades crónicas” (Neuromodulation; improving the quality of life in chronic disease)
21 May 2022, Barcelona, Spain
Welcome
The International Neuromodulation Society (INS) and the INS Spanish chapter (Sociedad Española de Neuromodulación) are honored to host a free public education session that is open to patients, family members, interested members of the public, members of the news media, and professionals. This free event will take place at the Barcelona International Convention Centre (CCIB) on 21 May 2022 beginning at 15:00.
During the afternoon session, several international experts will present neuromodulation therapies, both for chronic pain conditions — such as persistent back pain, head and face pain, or abdominal or pelvic pain — and for medication-resistant epilepsy. Perspectives of a patient and a family member will also be presented. Audience members will have the opportunity to pose questions to the speakers following the presentations. Simultaneous translation will be provided in Spanish and English throughout the session. The session will be followed by a closing reception.
The Public Education Event is being held prior to the INS 15th World Congress, which will take place at the CCIB on 21 – 26 May 2022. For more information about the full Congress, please click here.
